Hello! Bonjour! My name is Josée, and I am a French Canadian Métis mama of five children. I grew up in the beautiful province of British Columbia where I spent my childhood years exploring the vast wilderness of Western Canada with my family. Now, many years later, I have a family of my own and the sunny Okanagan Valley is where we call home.
I have been blogging for over 14 years, and this little space has greatly evolved since then. From the start, I have always shared my love for nature. As my family has grown, I’ve learned how important it is to spend time outside together. I’ve also discovered that getting outside with five children can be really challenging! Slowly this blog has transformed into a place of encouragement and a resource for parents looking to get outside and connect with nature with their own kids.
