As a child, I was surrounded by vast wilderness. My siblings and I spent much of our growing years exploring trails, creeks and rocks. Discovering the natural world has shaped me into who I am in many ways. Now it's my turn to share the mysteries and beauty of nature with my family.
For most of my life I lived in the chilly Northwest of Canada, where snow falls for six months each year and spring is followed so closely by fall that summer barely gets the chance to squeeze in. This is where I was born, and where my three children were born. Then in 2012 something unexpected happened, we moved. We travelled 800km south to sun soaked land. Our province is a beautiful one, both the North and the South. Now we are learning to call the South of British Columbia our home.
Over the last years I have been changing and growing. I have a passion for Jesus and my Catholic faith. Out of this love comes a deep desire to care for my family and the environment. I do this through preparing real local organic food and through urban homesteading (yes, we raise meat rabbits). You will find all sort of ideas, reflections and projects on this space. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you feel welcome here.
