This is the last week (and a bit) of Fall. Winter is about to begin, at least officially. I know some people have been dealing with snow piles and freezing temperatures for a while already, while others are basking in summer weather. Yesterday we had our second snow fall. It looks pretty outside and we’re excited to go explore the cross country ski area soon.

to do: soak chickpeas
lunch: Homemade tomato soup and sourdough grilled cheese.
dinner: Ginger beef stir fry with rice.
to do: feed sourdough
dinner: Whole roasted chicken, roasted root vegetables and winter squash.
to do: defrost beans
lunch: Hard boiled eggs, cheese and veggies.
dinner: Shredded chicken and pinto beans in homemade tacos (using leftover chicken).
to do: make sourdough bread
lunch: Chicken soup (using leftover chicken).
dinner: Dinner out with friends. Bring a salad.
lunch: Out Skiing! Raw fruits, veggies, cheese and homemade crackers.
dinner: German pancake.

Still haven’t made my beef broth… so here’s hoping I get it done this week.
