Pure North Bottles: Review and Giveaway

by Josée

Pure North Bottles is a family run business that is located in the Okanagan Valley, BC. As fellow adventurers they know first hand the importance of well made and dependable gear and have relied on their own adventures to design a reusable, stainless steel drinking bottles that is both durable and beautiful.

Their bottles are made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel with a double-wall construction and a vacuumed sealed lid. This design keeps cold drink cool for up to twenty-four hours and hot drink toasty for up to twelve hours. Through a very vigorous testing process, which involved forgetting our bottle of cold water in an oppressively hot van for the entire day (multiple times over) and still gulping down cool water at the end of the day, my kids and I have concluded that these bottles are all that they claim to be! The other great things about these bottles is that they don’t leak, get covered in condensation and the opening is small which means easier drinking for kids and adults but still big enough for adding ice cubes.

We’ve been testing out our black 500 ml Pure North bottle for over a month now. We’ve brought it hiking, biking and climbing and it’s been dropped, stepped on and thrown onto rocky terrain (these things happen when you rock climb). The exterior is starting to get scratched but the integrity of the bottle is still perfectly intact. Our Pure North Bottle is the first bottle we reach for on our way out and it’s so popular that my kids often wish we had the larger 750 ml bottle!

Pure North Bottles can be ordered through their online store or at the Penticton Farmers’ Market.

These look awesome! We are looking for a new water bottle for the summer. How do you find the lack of sport cap? My little one is 2.5 and I’d be worried she’d spill without it. Thanks for the great info and the giveaway!
