This past week we enjoyed exploring a new trail at White Lake and revisiting the esplanade along the southeast end of Okanagan Lake. By the end of the week, however, I was fighting off a cold and in need of rest. My children continued getting outside every day but my own outdoor adventures were limited to stepping into the backyard wrapped in a thick blanket for a few minutes here and there. We’ve noticed snow on the tops the mountains near our home and have officially switched to wearing our winter coats. The wood stove is finally running and keeping us toasty warm inside our home. If we’re lucky we may even see our first snowfall in the next week. There’s a little over a week left of #FallOutside2016 and I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures we’ll have in the days to come.
